The Phenomenon That Is Online Bingo

What has everybody going crazy over online bingo these days? Bingo used to be a game that your grandmother played and occasionally, if you were very good, she might have brought you along for an evening. But now it has just gone through the roof with people of all ages.

I recently headed off to the local Mecca Bingo hall and was stunned to see the demographic of customers playing that evening, at the ripe old age of 29 I wasn't the youngest there by far and my fella, who was hauled along for the heck of it, was breathing a sigh of relief at not being the only bloke there.

But, having only won a fiver there, I decided to try my hand at online bingo and what a surprise it was! First of all bingo sites are throwing money at new customers - Winzingo Bingo was offering a 100% cash match up to 200, Foxy Bingo up to 150 and Jackpot Joy up to 100 - fab!!! I doubled up on my first deposit instantly and considering the last time I got free cash was probably my 12th birthday, this was quite a thrill!

More digging around the bingo sites turned up prizes of cars, holidays, million pound jackpots, pampering hampers, wine, champers the lot. So I decided to play it smart and signed up with a few, threw my 10 into the ring, doubled up and played my little heart out in a bid to grab some of these goodies. Okay, so I haven't been zipping around in a brand new car or trekked off to some exotic place by the sea but I have won cash on a couple and frankly that's all I needed to keep me going.

Of course, I wasn't exactly shouting my new found love of the game from the rooftops (some residue 'Bingo = Grandmother' issues) but when I did mention it to a friend she promptly told me that she heads off to Gala Bingo at least three times a week after work with her colleagues. She's now catching the online buzz and with the bingo sites constantly trying to out-do each other, it's a players paradise and fingers crossed it will stay that way for a very long time.
